climatemodel

This model depicts the effects of carbon dioxide in two different environments. In the first example, we have a city environment where cars drive around the city. While the cars are driving, they are releasing CO2 into the atmosphere. Once the CO2 reaches a certain level, the sky begins to get filled with smog. In the second example we have a glacier environment where ships sail in the ocean. If the ship comes near the glacier, the CO2 goes up. Once the CO2 reaches a certain level, the glacier begins to melt. The car can change into a hybrid car, and eventually into an electric car. If an electric car is next to smog, the smog can disappear. Directions: The user can change the percent chance of the CO2 increasing using the slider bar. Polluteoutputcar refers to the % chance of CO2 output from the regular cars. Polluteoutputhybrid refers to the % chance of CO2 output from the hybrid cars. Polluteoutputship refers to the % chance of CO2 output from the ships. Co2_counter is the CO2 output from all cars. Co2_counters is the CO2 output from ships. The Co2 amount resets every time smog appears. This is displayed in the graph. The amount of smog and glacier surface area is also depicted in the graph.
